Love & Comfort is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Registered Dietitian to join our team in Chesterfield, Virginia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing nutritional care plans for our residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met to promote health, well-being, and a high quality of life. This role requires a professional who can work collaboratively with our healthcare staff and residents to provide personalized dietary guidance and support, all within the compassionate environment of our assisted living community.
Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition plans.
Educate residents and their families on dietary guidelines and health-related topics.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to integrate dietary plans with overall care.
Oversee meal preparation and delivery to ensure compliance with dietary restrictions and preferences.
Maintain accurate and confidential resident records.
Participate in team meetings to discuss resident care and health initiatives.

Experience & Qualifications
*Current Registered Dietitian (RD/DTR) license in the state of Virginia.
*Graduate of an accredited dietetics program.
*Experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting is preferred.
*Strong organizational and time-management skills.
*Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays as needed.
